A remarkable story deserves a remarkable conversation.
Join us Wednesday, June 17th at 5:30 p.m. in the Grill for a very special Book Club event as we welcome author Neil White via Zoom to discuss his acclaimed memoir, In the Sanctuary of Outcasts.
Set in Carville, Louisiana — the last leprosy colony in the continental United States — White’s memoir is a powerful story of loss, humility, redemption, friendship, and discovering what truly matters. John Grisham called it “a remarkable story,” and the book has also been praised as funny, poignant, astonishing, and deeply moving.
Everyone is invited — whether you’re a regular Book Club attendee, have already read the book, or are simply curious to join us. We encourage you to read it if you can, but it is not required.
Neil will be open to questions from the group, making this a thoughtful, engaging, and memorable evening for all.
