37th Annual Pigeon Dove Junior Championship
June 2 & 3, 2008
Qualifications
The 37th Annual "Pigeon Dove" Junior Tournament will be held by invitation only. The field will be limited to the first 40 entrants per age group. Applications will be cleared by the tournament committee. Entry not valid unless accompanied by parent's signature.
Age Divisions
11 & Under 9 holes per day Red tees
12 - 13 18 holes per day Gold tees
14 - 15 18 holes per day White tees
16 - 17 - 18 18 holes per day Blue tees
Dress Code - Soft Spikes
Each player shall wear collared golf shirts (tucked in), no cut offs, blue jeans, tank tops or tee shirts allowed. Musgrove Country Club is a "SOFT SPIKE ONLY" facility.
Rules of Play
All play will be stroke play. Ties will be settled by a sudden death playoff for 1st place only in each age division. All other ties will be settled by matching scorecards.
Prizes
All age division winners will receive plaques. The number of places in each age division will be determined by the number of entries.
Starting Times
Starting times will be posted on Sunday, June 1. Call the Golf Shop at (205) 221-7902 for your starting time. Players must be ready to play at their designated time.
Entry Fee and Entry Deadline
Entry Fee of $50.00 must accompany the entry form. If you are not accepted, the entry fee will be returned. The entry deadline is Friday, May 30, 2008. Entries will not be accepted if entry form is not completed.
Other Information
There will be a complimentary lunch served both days to all participants. One complimentary practice round may be scheduled by calling the golf shop. (205) 221-7902
All decisions of the Rules Committee will be final.
